In 2000 I was one of those guys who ran out and bought a Lance bike. Much more bike than I deserved. I thought people were looking down on me as All Bike No Legs. 8 years and many tens of thousands of miles later, I think they're looking down on me for riding such an old piece of crap Trek.
Probably nobody really cares.
