The mirror mounts on the visor of my helmet. You've seen similar pictures posted by others. Two blinkies easily fit on the stays on a bike. A couple of 15 minute flares easily fit on rack or in a pannier. Oh I'm sorry, I forgot you don't run with those. Do you even have a toolbag? Or did you leave it at home with your spare tube?

The pole idea I wouldn't even have considered, except I just saw this the other day - a guy was running two blinkies on a pole (admittedly, he was running screen for what appeared to be a recreational group ride) and he was quite easy to spot even riding in the thick of morning commuters.

The pole itself isn't very much - it's just a 3/8" fiberglass rod - sold at hardware stores as a "driveway marker" with some white reflective tape on top. Oh yeah, no rack. Sorry. Guess you'll have to duct tape the light to your aero helmet.

But hey, if you want to run al fresco on your Felt and tangle with logging trucks, that's your deal. OP asked for suggestions - it's his choice to run like a discotech or black as night.
