I am very happy that works for you, but most people would find it very uncomfotable to switch between saddles of such diverse dimensions from ride to ride.

100% in agreement, Brooks is a differnet beast all together. Just like an old broken in baseball glove or that well worn leather recliner, a Brooks that is properly broken in and cared for is a saddle of a lifetime. Its just that many people do not want to go to the expense (monetarily or invest the time to care for) of owning a Brooks saddle, we want to pull the saddle out of the packaging install it then ride and be instantly comfortable.

None of the saddles you mentioned are on the cushy side of the saddle kingdom. No fair mentioning Brooks again, as we have already agreed that it is in a class all by itself. I would also venture a guess that Flight/Turbo riders would be just as comfortable on an SLK or Thork.

(knocking sounds) This is the internet isn't it, we are on BF aren't we. Brand bashing is what we do. I did not say anything incorrect about Terry saddles, their shells are very soft and very flexible, bouncy even, that is how she corrects for padding that bottoms out and provides no additional comfort over no padding at all. Maybe I was a little unfair to the Toupe Gel, maybe I should have said that all gel saddles are crap!

Did I mention that I gave Terry 1600 miles to prove to me that her saddle was the cats pajamas.
