I was having trouble with the toe clips & straps but then I adjusted them for my foot size/position & now all is well. I actually like the stock pedals. They're very similar to Shimano DuraAce pedals.
Which are absolute **** without cleats and they're at least made well.
Yeah i plan to get some other pedals... I have a hard time getting my foot in the cheap plastic toe clip once i start pedalling. Do you recommend a specific pedal/strap/brand?
PUT YOUR STRAPS BACK ON!!!!! Clips and straps are always going to be a bit tricky on a fg. If it's really a problem just lean against a sign or something to put your foot in and tighten the strap. Riding strapless with 81" brakeless is incredibly unadvisable.
