All the Shimano Hypeglide (and compatible) freehub lockrings fit. Your freehub is likely a Hypeglide and Uniglide hybrid. But if there are no threads on the inside of the freehub and no single wider spline, you may need a new freehub. See here: http://sheldonbrown.com/k7.html#hyperglide

Your hub looks the same as the one I have on an older tandem bike--it was designed for a 6-speed cassette (but obviously a single cog and spacers will be just fine).
