When I was working inside the loop between Richmond and W. Alabama but living out near Briar Forrest and Kirkwood I would commute down Briar Forrest/San Felipe. This was mostly around 6:00 am after I got off work though. Looking at the Houston Bikeways map I see the shared lane route that winds from Woodway and N. Post Oak to Sugar Hill and Fountainview Take Fountainview to San Felipe and you've missed that crazed Gallaria traffic. That's half the battle there. Go west down San Felipe and follow that. San Felipe actually becomes Memorial then becomes Briar Forrest When Memorial drops off. When you leave Piney Point (one of those Memorial villages) the speed limit goes up to 40-45 but it's a short hop over the bridge and you hit the bike lanes on Briar Forrest. You can go down the bike lanes til you hit Adler then cruise that 'hood to til your practically at Beltway 8 and Buffalo Bayou. If the construction is still going on (and it is) Find the entrance at Boheme across the Beltway.
