You can't be too rich, too thin, or have too many bikes. I have the following:

1 modern road bike
2 vintage road bikes
1 fixed gear bike
1 touring bike
1 dual-suspension mountain bike
1 vintage hard tail mountain bike

Plus there's my wife's and my son's mountain bikes.

So 9 bikes in the house at the moment. I'm primarily a roadie and my wife and son haven't been doing any riding lately so the four mountain bikes have been idle. The other 5 are used regularly.
