Same here. My fitter had me do the exercise where you pick up and drop your feet and see where they naturally fall. My left looks like it is trying to get off my leg. Really straightened up my knees in pedaling.

I think I may need to try that exercise. I think it is mentioned in the bg footbed manual.
My method has been to ride and see what was happening. Research and then tweak.
