Well, croc, I think that's a crock. The exploded views do not include the internals (unless you've found something new). Nor does Shimano sell repair parts for them.

There's a standing request here for pictures and info from those few who claim to be able to re-assemble Shimano shifter internals. To date we are still waiting. Wanna make a name for yourself?
