The last .65 miles of my 12.75 mile commute is an intense winding one lane super-hill, with tons of cars, and 5 different bus lines utilizing it. It's never fun; unfortunately there is no way around it at the moment - at least until they reopen the Henry Hudson River bridge in 2010...
Oh I feel your pain with the hill. I've tried all sorts of routes to get around this hill, but they all lead to more or less the same type of hill.
