I would totally support Critical Mass--including taking part in it-- if it was respectful of the laws and other users of the road. As long as it is respectful of neither, it doesn't have my support. well then you should be right there on the Portland ride every month, if it's still happening, because since Jan 05 it has been a totally legal celebration of red lights, as enforced by Portland's finest.
