The world we live in requires that certain members of our society need to be protected from other members of society. Sometimes this comes at our expense. He would require this protection whether he was walking his dog, shopping for groceries, buying crack or banging high priced hookers. I for one am happy to contribute to him using that protection while he pursues his fitness goals. Politicians like this mayor are a positive role model for a society that has gotten increasingly bloated in the past decades.
