every single bike i see, i look down at the chain, and if the bottom part is horizontal or sloping downward toward the back of the bike, i stop looking. i mean i need to look where i'm going, right? but if i see that telltale angle, the chain rising up to meet the single cog in the back, well i'm all over it. with my eyes i mean.
