Roads with no shoulder or ability to safely pass for miles should be free of recreational bicycles.

I suppose that's why a few of the mouthbreathers around there have nailed hand painted placards to the telephone poles, with the universal circle/slash insignia and the wording "Bicycle Free Zone".
