Thanks again for all the suggestions. I think I have it down to a Garmin 650 Nuvi, or a Tom Tom 720, and that the final decision might be down to price and availability.

Yours was a great idea except for the fact that my phone is employer supplied and we are in a bit of a budget crunch right now. That and the fact that I can just barely use the phone so adding something might be more than I can handle....but I can cope with a GPS.
