If you can, post a photo; that would be a big help. The L is November, and the 7 is either 1977 or 1987. Because the next years' models came out in September, it is likely a '78 or '88 model.

The 1988 Le Tour came in a blue/white fade. Does your bike look like the one on the bottom of THIS PAGE?
