I was hit from behind at about 45mph about 6 weeks ago; still recovering. Was not wearing an iPod but either way it wouldn't have made a difference as the witness said the driver drifted over and just plowed into me, no warning, and thankfully I don't remember it. In Illinois you can not wear headsets while on the roadway. I think you can get by wearing one ear bud though....
