YES!
It was my first time commuting to work, and as I stopped to calibrate with traffic, some ***hat hits me from behind! The damage wasn't that bad, as only my rear wheel got damaged (permanently), but it made me stupidly late for work that day.
For the record, I didn't have my iPod on that day. I don't think that really matters in situations like this, as the reaction time for something like that has to be really really short.
