i'm building a new carbon pino and am waiting until fall for the new 11 speed campy.

until then i am still training with my 84 pino which people love. but of course it has downtube shifters.

has anyone used newer brifters like campy chorus with their old derailleurs? (super record)
i want the convenience of index shifting without having the buy new derailleurs just for a few months.
yes i will need a new cassette and chain

just wondering if anyone has had success with this setup.
