I think it's too bad that what you did could be construed as "assault". I seriously doubt the girl was complimenting your legs or riding style, she was just being an idiot. To think people in a pickup would be intimidated by a guy on a bicycle is actually very funny. Despite some objections that cyclists who take no s*** give us a bad name, I too have a hard time not reacting when someone ensconced within a 3000# hunk of metal thinks it's funny to scream at me.
