If you run Windows, you may be interested in my "CycliStats" ride logger and training diary. It tracks all the usual ride data (distance, time, heart rate, etc.), plus it will automatically estimate your average watts, calories burned, and climbing.

It comes with a bunch of built-in graphs and reports, allowing you to "slice and dice" your ride data easily.

It also tracks bicycle maintenance (allowing you to see how many miles are on your chain, tires, etc.). And, it tracks your important personal health statistics (weight, blood pressure, resting heart rate, etc.).

It features the easiest to use interface of any program that I'm aware of, and I'm constantly adding new features to it (I recently added a new "Goals" feature, and the ability to attach "links" to external digital photo files and websites to each ride, and to each Goal).

You can download a free, fully functional, 30-day trial version from the website ( http://www.CycliStats.com ).
