I got a 2005 Giant OCR3 off CL and couldn't be happier. I love that bike. I think I'm the second or third owner. It does have the Sora components and I've ridden probably 800+ miles with no shifting issues. Folks dislike sora primarily due the shifting mechanism (i.e. placement of levers). I've found when everything is properly maintained (i.e. cleaned/lubed) & adjusted you can achieve shifting heaven. When the time comes upgrading is a cinch for me but then I do all of my maintenance with the exceptions of BB.
