Would have been well worth an extra couple bucks to just forget about it.

So as long as this thread has been resurrected, how much do you, the reader, personally tack onto the shipping costs of items that you sell on eBay? I'm about to sell the parts I replaced and I would be curious to know.

In the past I've just charged actual shipping, but always get shorted a couple bucks.
I try to keep it as close as possible. When i've been a buyer, there's nothing more annoying than paying $15 for shipping, and seeing postage of $5 on a package.

In other instances (like when selling an entire bike), I think some markup is okay especially if you'll be buying special packaging etc.
