Great job I am looking at increasing my commute to 4 days a week also starting next week. My commute is 12 miles each way with rolling hills. Although there might be an actual hill or two in there that are not considered rolling but I am not sure how much climbing I have to do before other cyclists feel it is a hill or not.
If you are struggling with it, it is a hill. I remember I used to have trouble with slight inclines that were 50 feet long. I had to shift gears and everything. Now they don't even slow me down.
It's all about keeping at it.
