I went to a pretty reputable LBS and one of the guys told me that you can put a 9 speed cassette on a 10 speed hub. So I'm hoping to get a definitive answer on this w/o having to start a new thread. Can you put a 9 speed hub on say a Ksyrium or Ultegra wheelset?
