You totally should.. it's a great atmosphere/vibe. Just pick up a set of CX tires. The Schwalbe Racing Ralphs are supposed to be great (I have a set but haven't mounted them yet), and I had a great time on the Michelin Mud2's last year in all conditions.

Just doing some laps around the park with some hill climbs/runups, and some dismount/remount practice. I'll probably just find a log or something to use as a makeshift 'barrier'.

I ran 23c slicks all last Winter with no probs. Narrow tires are great in the snow... I found my mtb was a total handful in the snow since the tires tended to just float on top of the snow rather than cutting through to the pavement below.

Analogy to auto-racing... the tires they use in the Swedish Rally look totally ******** they're so narrow, but it's the same idea of cutting through vs. floating on top:
