Attorney for a big "white shoe" firm in NYC.
I ride 6mi each way and park my bike at the train station in Newark, NJ and catch the PATH (commuter rail) the rest of the way. (My commute:

We've got a shower in one of the restrooms, which I use when the temp for the ride in is over 60F. I much prefer the winter when I can just wear "business casual" for the ride in. (I don't like to arrive in shorts and SPD sandals unless I'm in by 7:30 or 8. As a consequence, on days when I leave at 1 or 2, I get off the bike at 2 or 3 and have to get back on it around 6:30. Not every day is that late, of course, but enough are that every week or so in the summer I take the train instead of the bike for the extra 40min of sleep. In the winter, it's nice to be able to roll in anytime before my first call.)
