Any links to finding out the age of this bike? It is a Bridgestone 200 Sport Touring model. Says Made in Taiwan on the seattube. 5x2 gearing, 27" wheels. I got it this afternoon at a rummage sale, the owner was there when I walked back over to pick it up (it was in the neighborhood) and she said she was the original owner. She said she bought it new 14 or so years ago, but I suspect her date is off a bit.

Serial number on the BB is M7-Axxxx.

I spent a few hours this evening going over it a bit, slipped new tires/tubes on it, removed the grab-on foam grips and put a black/red Bontrager wrap on it. I'm not really happy with how that wrapping turned out. I've also removed the turkey wings for now. Adjusted up the rear axle and the headset a bit. Should be good enough to ride now. Not sure if I went over the top with adding the red water bottle cage. The red handlebar wrap looks pink in the pics, but in person it is a close match to the bike's paint, the camera flash seems to be washing it out some.

So, anyway, here it is, first pics are how I got it, last three are how it is now. Still needs more attention, but that might wait until I get some other stuff done around here.

Any idea how old this thing is? How good are the components? The previous owner went on and on about how great and high quality the bike was, but I'm just curious where it really sat on the Bridgestone tree (doesn't really matter, just curious). Thanks for any input or info.
