I'll send the photos to Trek just to inform them of what happened. Since I've already replaced the post I'm not looking for anything. The response on this subject suprised me... I didn't really think much about the rarity for a seat post fail... I was just thinking about the possible injuries such as gazza had.
Wish I would have heard all the good viewpoints on Thomson seat post before buying an Easton... My Easton seems pretty beefing so I'm good.
