I was on a fast, steep descent -- tucked over the bars a bit to be a bit more aero -- when a car pulled up alongside me and tooted the horn. I looked over and saw that two young women passengers in the car were mooning me.

I was not sure how to interpret it at the time, but I guess it counts as "generally encouraged."
