I try to remember to bring my cell phone, which is a decent Sony that can double as an MP3 player, with me on rides. Don't always remember. When I do bring it, I drop it in my wedge bag. Have only used it once, when I was out longer than I anticipated and called my wife to let her know I was going to be more than an hour late.
