JPConrad's "quick" route is basically my commute home in reverse when I don't feel like climbing La Tuna (except I start in Sun Valley and take Glenoaks to Kenneth). Drivers aren't very nice on Colorado and buzz me more there than anywhere else (including the infamous La Tuna), but it's mostly just an annoyance. If you can make the time, Lida and Chevy Chase are much nicer both for the scenery and for the traffic.
I need to figure out how to avoid the flooded Paris-Roubaix on Tuxford now that my work has moved (hint, that's a plea for suggestions from John, Will, or anyone else who knows the area).
