Not to rain on the parade, (-Fortunately there has been some rain gear discussion. ) but did you see this?

I think it was just last night on NBC's Olympic coverage when Bob Costas said that, compared to several years ago when he last visited China, he couldn't believe the number of cars now on Chinese roads. He said that it used to be all bicycles, but not any longer.

Can anyone be surprised? That's progress.
