After my last knee surgery I was left with no meniscus, cartilage, or anything else, except bone, ligaments, and tendons. I do have the added bonus of some scar tissue, so I have that going for me.

A torn meniscus really isn't that big of a deal. In the world of knee injuries, a meniscus tear is sort of like a broken fingernail. Your procedure will most likely be an outpatient ordeal, take less than an hour, and you will most likely be on a stationary bike within a week and a half. I'm surprised your out for the season, but you only get two of your own knees, so take care of them while your young.

You will live to ride again.
