Bikes: Surly Long Haul Trucker

I think i've spotted my stolen bike on ebay....

So i couple of weeks ago my bike got stolen in new york, i was VERY attached to this bike, i loved it dearly - i'd ridden it across america on the transamerican trail/the western express/ the pacific coast trail of adventurecycling's maps... so yeah... we had some times together that i will never forget and i was seriously broken apart when it got stolen...

Anyway... so, 6 weeks later and THIS shows up on ebay...

The reasons i'm suspsicious:

My bike was a 2005 bianchi volpe, as far as i know they haven't updated the design - what the HELL is this design??!!! No bianchi bike i know of......
It's clearly been resprayed and has standard stickers on it and racing stripes, again, very unbianchi
Been sanded down but still has some dings in it, i don't remember any specific dings in my frame unfortunately
If anyone recognises this frame please let me know, i've never seen this design before...
The bianchi crest is no longer there and has been replaced with a sticker
There appears to be no serial number on the bottom of the frame like there would normally be

WHAT CAN I DO!?? It seems like i have nothing to prove this is my bike, but at the same time there is a lot to prove this bike has been screwed with? The volpe is a pretty rare frame, especially in NY.....

Am i being totally paranoid and dreaming of times past with my bike???!!!

I reported my bike stolen the day after to the police, i just don't know what i can do if, indeed, this is my frame... help??!!!
