They've been running clips on the news all evening--some guy in Peru (I think, I missed some details) tried to set a speed record biking down a volcano slope.

Well, the bike snapped in half, and the guy flew off and bounced and skidded about 50 times, sending up big clouds of ash. According to the news, he had some broken bones and bruises, but walked away from the crash.

Anyway, it was a pretty dramatic film clip, and I'm sure it will make its way to the net. Maybe one of you others has more details?
