Those aren't that much wider than your standard beefy BMX rim, I think 30mm is pretty typical. The chart on Sheldon's site, as he noted is pretty conservative, you should be fine. I don't find a rim to be too wide until it's wider than the tire you're mounting, unnecessarily wide maybe, but will ride just fine.
