I'm pissed. It started raining about 15 mins before quitting time. Normally I'd just work late till it slowed down and ride home or drag the bike on the emptier post-rush hour trains. But I had a dr.'s appointment and they switched me from tomorrow to today, so I had to go...chained the bike up in my office and rushed to the subway - and slipped in a huge puddle on the shiny tile floor as I was trying to step around tons of people hogging the stairway to keep dry. I mean I went DOWN! Whump! My head didn't hit the ground But I felt my brains rattling around a bit. Damn MTA - I should sue them for negligence. You'd think they'd maintain their stations with all these fare increases, etc...
