And trust me, it's not snobbery. I'm riding and racing the same $2000 BLUE I've been riding for almost three years now.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it... I'm just saying that it's still a fairly uncommon brand, and you seeing a ton of them is still due to a certain amount of selection bias. I mean, it could be that a larger percentage of serious cyclists ride Cervelos in SoCal, but it probably has more to do with the number of serious cyclists and Cervelo dealers in the area.
