Why Canon? Designed for digital? No. Designed around digital? Yes. Same with Nikon (which was all I used from 1970-2001.

Olympus is designed for digital from the ground up.

Besides, cameras are like bikes -- it's more the eye behind the lens than the lens (and camera) itself.
