The comedy of errors that is my bike mechanic-ery continues...
While tightening the nut on my rear hub axle (the nut that goes on the axle securing it to the outside of the track end) I heard a snapping noise come from the general area. I have to check when I get home but I might have stripped the threads on the axle, which would be surprising since I didn't tighten anywhere near what the shop did.
My combination of not being mechanically inclined but still insisting on doing my own maintenance is translating well over to the fixed gear world, haha
