I stopped at a few sales this weekend and well, there was not much to be seen. Did buy a Huffy Mixte for $8.00. It had a nifty stem handle bar combination on it (the stem was an alloy .833 most likely from a Schwinn) and a set of Suntour Power Ratchet thumb shifters.

I put the stem/bars on a rust bucket Schwinn Breeze 3 speed that I have been fixing up, the thumb shifters are destined for an as yet undecided bike and the wheels (26x1 3/8 is decent shape with passable tires that are all white) will be going on a 1960 Schwinn Varsity that is sitting sadly in the basement.

The rest of the 'buffalo' is destined for the scrape heap, unless someone would want a Huffy Mixte frame?
