I found a guy selling a "racing bike" for $25. All he could tell me was that it was a Raleigh, so I went to check it out. It was a Reliant in very bad shape, so I listed all the problems with it and told him I'd give him $10 for it. He went for it.

Also got a very nice condition 1985 Trek 460 for $40. Had just a couple of nicks in the paint, and needs new tires, but is otherwise in marvelous condition, and had been stored indoors out of use for the past 10 years. I'm going to use this bike to ride, along with a very fine condition 1984 Raleigh Portage I picked up recently.
