I was in the market for a small mp3 player I could clip onto my clothes while cycling/working out. I almost bought an ipod shuffle until I found the sandisk sansa clip:
4gb for $70, which is twice the storage of the largest shuffle (2gb) for the same price.
You can also get this in a 1gb ($30) and 2gb ($50) version. Plus this player has better sound quality, a screen, FM radio, and a voice recorder. If you hear a song on the radio that you like, you can just hit record and it records the song and saves it as a track in your library. The pricepoint is amazing, and has really opened up my eyes to how much of a ripoff Apple's stuff is. And yes, I do own a regular iPod.
