I have an old pair of Lamson custom road shoes--Lamson is 1 of the Ds of D2. I have extremely narrow heels, & these are the 1st cycling shoes that really fit me; it's no fun to be cranking up a steep hill & have your heels pop out of the shoes. they are very comfortable, plenty stiff, & have held up well. but would I wear off-the-shelf shoes if I could? you bet!
