sheesh, what a science.. want warm and waterproof, but nothing so closed you end up a sweaty mess. I thought I had a decent pair of downhill ski goves laying around to try... can't find them anywhere.

Probably not worth it to spent $50 or so on those Pearl Izumi Amfibs, even though they sure sound cool.
