FWIW, everyone I know with a 705 has also had this problem until they've gotten them replaced at least once. Their experiences don't make me all that inclined to shell out big bucks...
That's not encouraging, but I'm glad that I have not had the problem with either my 305 or 705. Maybe it's the carbon stem
