No, I think the logic is this:

A. I could endure months of deprivation, self-discipline and denial to lose 20 pounds

*or*

B. I could grab my trusty friend VISA, run off to the LBS, and buy a bit of bike schwag to help me shave a few ounces (grams) off the weight of my bike (Titanium quick release, anyone?).

Which is more fun?
