The OP is no different than the mormons that keep knocking on your door after you tell them to go away. Rivindells are NOT road bikes, no matter how much they say they are. They are touring bikes, comfort bikes, commuter bikes, whatever you want to call it. I'm sure the Rivindell believers fit in great with the people that turn 700c bikes into 650b bikes, but that isn't what this forum is for. If I wanted to learn about recumbents, tandems, touring bikes, or whatever, I would go to the appropriate forum for it, and I occasionally do. This is the road forum. Sadly the description on the main page has changed, but it's about efficiency for speed here, not comfort.

Do the road forum people go trolling in other forums as well (other than Foo)?
