start by losing some weight -- you know you can. Easy rides for that effort while you diet. Then start into some SST. Concentrate on FTP development. Do the kinds of workouts that build Zone 4 ability on this page (no power meter required).

You're in the same situation I was in last season, all sprint and no endurance. My how things have changed.
